The fix is in
I've been convinced for some time that the Republican Party deliberately creates dificit spending to enable Republican legislatures and President to slash domestic programs. All of these programs have a great impact on the daily lives of both average and lower-income Americans. It is indecent that military spending should trump Americans staying warm. Perhaps if the Republican party looked at energy assistance as a way to shuffle more money to the oil companies, the President would reconsider this proposed decrease. I don't think other consideration is available to this Administration.
