NPP In Action
"..has relied heavily on NPP's Cost of War data to educate our communities and elected officials in rural Oregon.
Without your compelling figures, we could not have brought home the true cost of war with such clarity." - Amy Dudley, Community Organizer

Aid to Israel
My mouse refused to highlight Israel on the map. Be that as it may, I've never watched FAUX News in my life. I get my facts from having worked in the Dept. of State for 28 years--many of those years spent in the Near East Bureau. Aid takes many forms and USAID does not include most of what we give Israel because the money does not go through USAID.
I'd love to explain to you how the system works, but I don't think you'd be interested.
Your answer certainly illustrates what Mearshimer and Walt demonstrate in their book about the Israel lobby: anyone who dares cast a doubt on pro-Israel conventional wisdom, or propaganda is immediately set upon. I am surprised you did not call me anti-Semitic.
I suggest you take your blinders off.
I second John's comment. By
I second John's comment. By the way of additional information, Palestinians are Semitic as well- calling someone an anti-Semite is a clever little trick that has been used to label someone as a racist who disagrees with the Jewish ideology, or- God forbid, might actually think that Zionism is a bad idea.
Interesting, huh? I can disagree with tenets of Catholicism, Mormonism, Islam, Heaven's Gate, Jehovah's Witnesses or any other 'religion' and not be called a racist- why is it that I can't disagree with Judaism and not be a racist?
Zooming in
It's a bit tricky to navigate, but if you click the "+" button under the left hand corner of the map, you can zoom in and click on Israel to see how much aid they received in FY04.

AID to the world
Israel, the largest recipient of U.S. aid does not even show up on the map.
You ought to use other sources beside USAID--an agency that is so politicized that everything it publishes has to be taken with a large dose of salt.
Israel is on the map at
Israel is on the map at $77,700,000 they aren't even close to the top receipient. Iraq is over 6 billion. Go back to getting your "facts" from Fox News.
