As the only organization in the country with 30 years’ experience making the federal budget accessible and relevant to ordinary Americans, NPP offers unique expertise on a range of federal budget topics. Our team specializes in up-to-the-minute analysis of what’s happening in Washington, open government initiatives, the local and regional impact of federal budget decisions, and tools for citizen action. We also offer in-depth knowledge of federal budget data for use at the national, regional, and local levels.

NPP staff serve as regular commentators and contributors to media outlets nationwide. We are located thirty minutes from an NBC-affiliate television studio and three and a half hours from midtown Manhattan.
