The Defense department’s budget proposal for next year may bring a brief respite for defense contractors after years of lower funding.
But with budget battles and a presidential election, as well as mandatory spending limits, still looming, the prospects for defense contracts in the next few years is uncertain, say defense industry lobbyists and congressional staff. (more)
