I'm one of those people who believe that taxes are like dues that you pay to belong to a great club - in this case a great country. I've benefited immensely from government spending: college loans, highways, vacations to some amazing national parks, experiences at museums that received some arts funding and certainly had pieces by artists who were supported with funds. I get to write off interest on my home. I received a subsidy for energy efficient windows on my home. I benefit from the research that is funded through government funds (medical, technological). And that's just the beginning.... and thanks for asking.Ann from Chicopee, MA | Map
