Fighting for a U.S. federal budget that prioritizes peace, economic security and shared prosperity
I am a liver transplant survivor because of Medicare. One of the largest monthly expenses for transplant recipients are the numerous life sustaining medications that we are required to take. Without those medications we would go into organ rejection - which is a very painful and life threatening condition if not treated with very expensive immunosuppressants within days if not hours. They cost hundreds of dollars a month. Can anyone put a price on the value of a person's life.Allen from Portland, OR | Map
