Fighting for a U.S. federal budget that prioritizes peace, economic security and shared prosperity
I was shocked when we received a $6,000 check from the IRS for the reduced taxes on the middle class created by President Obama. I thought someone was crazy for reducing our taxes. Hence, I have continually sent letters and emails to Congress and the President to increase taxes for the rich to 50%. Next richest to 40%, middle class to 30%, and no taxes for poor. I continually ask the Congress to eliminate all subsidies, and reduce military spending by bringing troops home from Europe and southern American Countries and eliminating overpriced weapons systems and nuclear weapons.Martha from Boulder, CO | Map
I ask that all SNAP funding be fully budgeted and all other programs for the poor be fully funded for these monies go right back into the economy to pay for food, housing, and other essentials.
