Fighting for a U.S. federal budget that prioritizes peace, economic security and shared prosperity
My husband and I are disabled. We barely make it on a little over $1000 a month in SSI and SSDI. Our food stamps were cut back and we run out of them during the first week of the month. We run out of money about a week before the end of the month and haave to survive on whatever food we have left which usually isn't enough to provide adequate nutrition.Carol from Louisville, KY | Map
